The University of Waterloo was proud to bring the ChemEd conference back to the place where it began in 1973. The conference was held from Sunday July 28, 2013 to Thursday, August 1, 2013.
Every two years since the first ChemEd in Waterloo, the conference has been an opportunity for chemistry educators to share their teaching experiences, classroom innovations, and laboratory experiments. It’s a place to learn valuable insights from outstanding educators, and a place where participants engage in hands-on workshops and view chemical demonstrations. A photo history of the ChemEd captures the enthusiasm and energy of past conferences.
Contact Jean Hein (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions or are interested in being part of our committee of dedicated chemistry instructors and supporters. In the next year, we will be working to prepare a variety of sessions and events to provide worthwhile ideas to your teaching practices. We hope to see you in this summer in Waterloo, Ontario for an enjoyable and educational experience.
