Complementary studies electives

The total number of Complementary Studies Electives (CSEs) needed to meet your degree requirement is 6. You should choose: 

  • 1 course from list A.
  • 2 courses from list C.
  • 2 more courses from any of lists A, C or D.
  • The sixth CSE is from list B - Management Science (MSCI) 261: Engineering Economics - which is built into your 2B core program.

Options available to chemical engineering students

Note: options often require taking extra courses during an academic term. Students are allowed to take one extra course during an academic term and must have an average of greater than 70% in each of the previous two academic terms.
