Electrochemistry Techniques Series: Electrochemical Impedence Spectroscopy Workshop

Wednesday, November 24, 2021 1:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST (GMT -05:00)

The University of Waterloo Electrochemical Society student chapter (WatECS) is excited to invite you to the second event in our virtual Electrochemistry Techniques Workshop Series! Our second workshop on Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), hosted by Dr. Aslan Kosakian, will be on Wednesday, November 24th from 1:00 to 2:30 pm (EST). In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic principles of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, with an emphasis on the practical aspects of the technique, such as sample preparation, data analysis, and applications.

Speaker information: Dr. Aslan Kosakian is a postdoctoral fellow at the Energy Systems Design Laboratory at the University of Alberta, whose PhD work focused on numerical modeling of the transient transport processes in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs), including the development of an open-source platform to characterize PEMFCs through electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.

This event requires registration at: https://watecs-eis-workshop.eventbrite.ca. The Zoom link and information can be found at the end of this email.

Please stay tuned for upcoming electrochemistry techniques workshops in this series!

We look forward to seeing you there!
