 graduate\nwill discuss the transition from graduate student to assistant\n
 professor.  Topics will include the ingredients of a good PhD\nproject\, 
 structuring your future research plans\, setting reasonable\nexpectations\
 , the joys and burdens of teaching\, the paradoxical nature\nof hiring the
