DESCRIPTION:ABSTRACT \nThe simulation of flows using computational fluid dy
 namics (CFD) has\nadvanced considerably in recent decades and is now an es
 sential tool\nacross industries ranging from aerospace design to process\n
 engineering. Although CFD is relatively mature for single-phase flows\,\nm
 ultiphase flows (such as particle-laden flows) and multiphysics flows\n(su
 ch as those including microwaves or ultrasound) remain\nsignificantly more
  challenging to simulate\, in part due to their\nintrinsic multiscale natu
 re and conflicting numerical need.\n\nIn the recent years\, high-order met
 hods have gained considerable\nmomentum in aeronautics\, in part due to th
 eir significantly lower\ndispersion and dissipation\, but also for their h
 igher arithmetic\nintensity (FLOPS-to-byte ratio) which suits current hard
 ware\ncapabilities. However\, these methods remain seldomly used in\nchemi
 cal-engineering applications\, in part due to their multiphase and\nmultip
 hysics nature.\n\n
