SUMMARY:Seminar - “Hydrogen and the Future of the Energy System… and\nM
ulti-Scale Modelling Tools for Fuel Cell Development”\, J.G.\nPharoah\,
 Queen’s-RMC Fuel Cell Research Lab\, Queen’s University\,\nKingston\,
 Ontario
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:ABSTRACT:  Fuel cells inherently involve phenomena occurring o
ver a\nwide range of length scales\, from the molecular scale on\nelectro-
catalyst surfaces through various scales of porous media\nincluding cataly
st layers\, micro-porous layer porous transport layers\,\nto gas supply ch
annels within a cell and finally to the manifolds at\nthe stack scale. In
total\, length scales spanning about 10 orders of\nmagnitude are of intere
st to the fuel cell developer.
