Prof. Fowler gives keynote speech at GVGE September Monthly Meeting

Friday, September 13, 2013 12:00 am - 12:00 am EDT (GMT -04:00)

Prof. Fowler will give the keynote speech for the September 2013 meeting of the Grand Valley Group of Engineers. His talk is entitled "Hydrogen Economy and Transportation Alternatives,"

Prof. Fowler's primary research interests are in the design and performance of fuel cell stacks and systems. Fuel cells are an emerging technology, and there will continue to be extensive research (especially applied research) over the next 20 years. The main focus is the modeling of fuel cell system reliability, and research into potential failure modes and causes experienced in fuel cells stacks. In order to adequately model fuel cell performance and reliability, an interest is maintained in both fuel cell modeling, as well reliability analysis and simulation.

The Grand Valley Group of Engineers has been active since 1930 holding monthly meetings of engineers from all disciplines for informational seminars.
