Prof. Tadeusz Górecki has been named the winner of the 2017 GCxGC Lifetime Achievement Award.
Initiated in 2011, this annual award is given to an experienced scientist who has made significant contributions in promoting GCxGC instrumentation, method development, and applications.
Górecki is best known for his patented improvements to GCxGC or two-dimensional chromatography, a much more sensitive, two-step version of gas chromatography that allows researchers to fully resolve analyte peaks in messy environmental and biological samples.
He will give a presentation during the opening session of the 2017 ISCC and GCxGX Conference in Arlington, Texas this May.
Congratulations to Prof. Górecki!
