Prerequisite: Level at least 3A; CHEM 331 or CHEM 333
Content: The underlying principles of enzymatic catalysis (with examples such as protein dynamics and electrostatics) will be discussed along with discussion of techniques that are applied to this area. A survey of the mechanisms of selected members of the six classes of enzymes will also be presented.
