This course introduces the innovation process from idea to project, especially, but not exclusively, for scientists. It presents the state of mind required for innovation and introduces tools like mental maps, etc., required for both creative and critical thinking. The students learn how to define their innovation triangle (problem-user-solution), recognize values from functions, and identify the suitable audience (customer avatar, elevator pitch). Finally, they establish a business model inspired by the Lean Innovation Method and define a working program - including Work Packages, Tasks, Deliverables, Milestones - leading to project scheduling (Gantt chart). This course is recommended to all students interested in using their knowledge as a ground base for innovation and project management.
