Emagin, co-founded and jointly run by CEE and other UW students, has been announced as one of only 10 finalists in the Velocity Fund Finals!

On Thursday, July 21st, ten teams will pitch their startup to compete for one of four $25,000 prizes, plus a $10,000 hardware prize, during the $25K event of the Velocity Fund Finals, Waterloo’s premiere pitch competition.

Held three times a year, the Velocity Fund provides $375,000 in equity-free funding to startups to help remove some of the barriers to building a startup. Numerous applications for the $25K competition were submitted by University of Waterloo students and recent alumni, and finalists were selected after an intensive interview that assessed problem, solution, market, traction, and team fit.

Join us for the Velocity Fund Finals on July 21 from 11:00am – 3:00pm in the Great Hall, SLC.
