The University of Waterloo Concrete Canoe Team is a student design team that will compete in the Canadian National Concrete Canoe Competition (CNCCC). The team formed as a part of the Concrete Toboggan Team in 2013 and competed for its first time in the 20th CNCCC in May 2014. CNCCC is held every year and has students design a concrete canoe that must float when submerged and be raced during sprint and endurance events. Teams are also tasked to give an oral presentation and write a technical report on the design, construction and project management process for their canoe.
