Education & Students

IC3 and its members support the Master of Climate Change program, which was the first of its kind in North America when it began in 2013. Some IC3 members also supervise many Master's and PhD students from a variety of disciplines who are conducting research on climate change.

The Climate Students group provides a way for students of any age and any program on campus to connect with one another for discussion, learning and action regarding climate change. Among other efforts, IC3 and Climate Students played the lead role in coordinating student delegations to attend three recent United Nations climate change conferences: COP19, COP21, and COP22.

The number of graduate students supervised on climate change topics, Climate Students mailing list sign-ups as of December 2016, and COP19, COP21, and COP22 attendees.
