IC3 member Sarah Burch joins CBC host Laura Lynch on the CBC Radio podcast What on Earth. In the episode "Net-zero emissions is the goal. So how do we get there?" Sarah shares her expertise in sustainable governance, decarbonization, and climate change. She discusses how immedaite action is needed to meet Canada's goal of net-zero emissions and illustrates her vision for a decarbonized Canada.

"Yesterday, last year, 10 years ago is when we needed to start decarbonizing the Canadian economy. This isn't something you can sort of flick a switch on 20 years from now. It's a process that takes decades to unfold." Sarah Burch

Sarah Burch is an Associate Professor in the department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo and holds a Canada Research Chair in Sustainability Governance and Innovation.
