Andrea is the research manager for the Climate Risk Research Group and a PhD Candidate in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo.
Sarah is a graduate of the University of Waterloo's International Development program with an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree, and a minor in political science.
Evalyna is a SSHRC Postdoctoral Researcher and a MEOPAR Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo. Her research focuses on how diverse and competing priorities are navigated in policies and practices addressing socio-environmental problems, especially related to flood risk governance. To examine these complex challenges, Evalyna applies an interdisciplinary lens and innovative stakeholder engagement approaches.
Connor is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo. His research is on quantifying geospatial flood risk, flood risk communication and integrating this information into a risk score for homeowners and other stakeholders in Canada.
Shaieree is a PhD student in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo and the coordinator for the Canadian Coastal Resilience Forum.
Danielle is a Master’s Student in Sustainability Management at the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development, working under the supervision of Jason Thistlethwaite. Her research focuses on flood policy and governance, and how flood risk management is being discussed within the Canadian political sphere. She is the recipient of the Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship.
