*Note: If you do not have an 'Edit Form' button, your form has already been 'claimed by a staff member and is locked for editing.
To send a message to discuss the edits you want to make...
For Arrange Own Job forms, click 'Send a Message' button in WaterlooWorks and select 'To my advisor'.
For Intervew Conflict forms, click 'Send a Message' button in WaterlooWorks and select 'Interviews'.
Complete and submit the form. Use the 'Save as Draft' button to save until you are ready to submit the form.
Once your form is submitted, check WaterlooWorks regularly as your advisor may need further information from you.
Once the job is approved, you will be notified via message. While you are waiting, you can check the form status to determine where along the approval process your form is. To view the form status, login to WaterlooWorks and click on 'My Forms' from the dashboard. AOJ Form statuses are explained below.
|Student Form Status||Description|
Your Work Term Support (WTS) is reviewing your form.
|Job content accepted, pending employer confirmation||
Approval in progress - the job content has been accepted. Someone will reach out to the contact listed on the form to verify the details of the job.
|Employer confirmation in progress||Approval in progress - in process of confirming work details with employer.|
|On hold - pending more information||Approval has stalled - more information is required. You will receive a message if further action is required of you.|
|On hold - pending employer confirmation||Approval has stalled - we contacted the employer listed on the form for verification, and we are awaiting their response.|
|Job approved||All requirements for work term credit are met, and the employer verified the job details. The status is updated to Complete once the job is registered on WaterlooWorks.|
|Job declined - job not accepted||
The job does not meet the requirements for a work term credit and cannot be approved.
You may resubmit your form for further consideration if the details of the job change.
|Job declined - no response from employer/student||
The approval process stalled and either the listed employer contact or student (depending on the situation) failed to respond to a number of requests for more information and/or verification of details.
You may resubmit your form if circumstances change.
If we receive the required information from the student or employer, the process may begin again. Please contact your Work Term Support to discuss.
|Cancelled/Withdrawn||The AOJ Form was cancelled by staff because the circumstances did not require that a form be submitted OR the student withdrew the AOJ Form.|
