The C&O department has 36 faculty members and 60 graduate students. We are intensely research oriented and hold a strong international reputation in each of our six major areas:

Goulden-Jackson 2022
A conference on combinatorial and algebraic enumeration will be held at the University of Waterloo, from May 24-27, 2022. The conference will celebrate the research contributions of Professors Ian Goulden and David Jackson.
