Title: The Combinatorial Nullstellensatz

Abstract: I will survey Alon's survey of the combinatorial nullstellensatz. In particular, I will emphasize the application to list coloring pioneered by Alon and Tarsi. If time allows I will discuss the connection to Galvin's theorem and the Alon-Tarsi Conjecture.
