 d are classical\nobjects in enumerative combinatorics which count the numb

 cles\, respectively. Carlitz and Gould introduced q-analogues of the\nStir
 ling numbers of the first and second kinds\, which have been\nfurther stud
 ied by many authors including Gessel\, Garsia\, Remmel\,\nWilson\, and oth
 ers\, particularly in relation to certain statistics on\nordered set parti
 tions.
