SUMMARY:Algebraic Graph Theory Seminar - Sabrina Lato
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:TITLE: Algebraic Graph Theory\n\nSpeaker:\n Sabrina Lato\n\nAff
 iliation:\n University of Waterloo\n\nLocation:\n MC 6029\n\nABSTRACT:\n\n
A graph is distance-regular if we can write the distance adjacency\nmatric
es as polynomials in the adjacency matrix. Distance-regular\ngraphs are a
class of graphs of significant interest to algebraic\ngraph theorists for
their structural and algebraic properties. The\nnotion of distance-regula
rity can be weakened to a local property on\nvertices\, but when every ver
tex in the graph is locally\ndistance-regular\, the graph will either be d
istance-regular or in the\nclosely related class of distance-biregular gra
 phs.
