SUMMARY:Algebraic Graph Theory - Daniel Gromada
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:TITLE: Quantum symmetries of Hadamard matrices\n\nSPEAKER:\n Da
niel Gromada\n\nAFFILIATION:\n Czech Technical University in Prague\n\nLOC
ATION:\n Please contact Sabrina Lato for Zoom link\n\nABSTRACT: The main
purpose of this talk is to explain the idea behind\nthe main results of a
recent article arXiv:2210.02047 about quantum\nsymmetries of Hadamard mat
rices. First\, we recall the notion of\nquantum symmetries from the viewpo
int of quantum groups as well as\ndiagrammatic categories. On the example
of a finite (quantum) space\,\nwe show\, how the diagrammatic approach can
be used to prove that all\nfinite spaces (of size at least four) have qua
ntum symmetries and all\nfinite quantum spaces of a given size are mutuall
y quantum isomorphic.\nThe same technique is used to show analogous result
s for Hadamard\nmatrices. Finally\, we would like to list a couple of ques
tions and\nresearch suggestions related to this topic.
