SUMMARY:Algebraic Graph Theory - Gabor Lippner
CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:TITLE: Pretty Good Fractional Revival via Magnetic Fields - the
 ory and\nexamples\n\nSPEAKER:\n Gabor Lippner\n\nAFFILIATION:\n Northeaste
rn University\n\nLOCATION:\n Please contact Sabrina Lato for Zoom link.\
n\nABSTRACT: I will discuss the notion of PGFR relative to a given subset\
nof nodes of a graph. This is a generalization of the more standard\n(pret
ty good) fractional revival between 2 nodes. In the process\, I\nwill intr
oduce the proper generalization of cospectrality to the\nfractional settin
g\, and give the appropriate extensions of methods\nalready in use for the
2-vertex case. These include the Kronecker\ncondition and the field-trace
method. I will conclude by giving\nvarious families of examples of PGFR
in the presence of\n(transcendental) magnetic fields.
