 ve\nweights method and gradient descent solve the regret minimization\npro
 blem. In this talk we will go over a meta-algorithm called Follow\nthe Reg
 ularized Leader (FTRL). We will show how FTRL generalizes both\nmultiplica
 tive weights and gradient descent. We will also talk about\nthe Mirror Des
 cent meta-algorithm\, and show its equivalence with FTRL.
