 ckground at the\nbeginning graduate level starting at 1pm.\n\nABSTRACT: I
  will discuss some combinatorics of non-crossing chord\ndiagrams that aros
 e in the context of proving a conjecture from my\ncoauthor's thesis which 
 said that the global Schwinger formula of\nCachazo and Early could be deco
 mposed into a sum over cones indexed by\nnon-crossing chord diagrams and t
 hat the amplitudes can be read off\nthe chord diagrams by a triangulation 
 construction.\n\nFor this talk I will focus on the combinatorics\, but wil
 l hand wave\nover the physics at some point between the seminar and the\np
 re-seminar.\n\nJoint work with Bruno Giménez Umbert.
