 \nLocation\n MC 5479\n\nAbstract:In 2009\, Brenti and Welker studied the V
 eronese construction\nfor formal  power series which was motivated by the
  corresponding\nconstruction for  graded algebras. As a corollary of thei
 r algebraic\ncomputations\, they  discovered an identity for the coeffici
 ents of\nthe Eulerian polynomials.  The authors asked for a combinatorial
 \nproof of this identity given that  all of its ingredients are\nenumerat
 ive in nature. In this talk I will present one such\ncombinatorial proof. 
 I will gladly do a pre-seminar with the\nmotivation and preliminaries for 
 the talk!
