DESCRIPTION:TITLE: Operahedron Lattices\n\nSpeaker\n Andrew Sack\n\nAffili
 ation\n University of Michigan\n\nLocation\n MC 5479\n\n ABSTRACT: Two c
lassical lattices are the Tamari lattice on\nbracketings of a word and the
weak order on permutations. The Hasse\ndiagram of each of these lattices
is the oriented 1-skeleton of a\npolytope\, theassociahedron and the permu
tohedron respectively. We\nexamine a poset on bracketings of rooted trees
whose Hasse diagram is\nthe oriented 1-skeleton of a polytope called th op
erahedron. We show\nthis poset is a lattice which answers question of Lapl
ante-Anfossi.\nThese lattices provide an extremelynatural generalization o
 f both the\nTamari lattice and the weak order.\n\nTHERE WILL BE A PRE-SEMI
