 ABSTRACT: Distance-biregular graphs (DBRGs) generalize\ndistance-regular
graphs by admitting a bipartition of the vertex set\,\nwhere each part sat
isfies local distance-regularity  under distinct\nintersection arrays. In
recent years\, a particular subclass of these\ngraphs\, those satisfying
 the so-called 2-Y-homogeneous condition\, has\ngarnered increasing attent
ion due to its rich connections with\ncombinatorial design theory and the
representation theory of\nTerwilliger algebras. In this talk\, we will exa
mine the key structural\nconditions that characterize 2-Y-homogeneous DBR
Gs. We will survey\nrecent progress in their classification under various
combinatorial\nconstraints\, highlighting both known results and open prob
 lems.
