 on theory is to\ndetermine the capacities of a quantum channel for sending
  different\nsorts of information.  I’ll highlight the new and fundament
 ally\nquantum aspects that arise in quantum information theory compared to
 \nthe classical theory. These include the central role of entanglement\,\n
 nonadditivity\, and synergies between resources. I will also discuss\nsome
  challenging open questions that we will have to solve to push the\ntheory
  forward. \n
