CLASS:PUBLIC
DESCRIPTION:TITLE: Are cryptosystems based on ideal lattices quantum-safe
 ?\n\nSpeaker\n Jean-Francois Biasse\n\nAffiliation:\n University of South
 Florida\n\nRoom: \n QNC 1501\n\nABSTRACT:\n\nShor's algorithm factors RSA
integers and solves the Discrete\nLogarithm Problem (DLP) in quantum poly
nomial time. Therefore\,\nalternatives to these cryptosystems must be deve
loped to replace the\ncurrent cryptographic schemes. One of the most inter
esting family of\nschemes that have been proposed for the replacement of R
SA-based and\nDLP-based primitives relies on the hardness of finding short
  vectors\nin Euclidean lattices.
