At the Spring 2015 convocation, Combinatorics and Optimization student Abbas Mehrabian was awarded a Governor General's Gold Medal for high standing academic achievement by a doctoral student.
Professor Chris Godsilis a winner of a University of Waterloo Award of Excellence in Graduate Supervision. The award, established by the Graduate Studies Office and the Graduate Student Association, recognizes exemplary faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in graduate student supervision.
Rutger Campbell (B.Math. 2015) is a co-winner of the fourth Jessie W.H. Zou Memorial Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research in the Faculty of Mathematics.
