AHS

As a first-year Applied Health Sciences student, you are required to take AHS 107 in order to fulfil the Communication Requirement, also referred to as the English Language Proficiency Requirement. If you are a transfer student entering the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, you are subject to the same requirement. All AHS students are encouraged to enrol in additional communication and language courses throughout their time at UW.

If you are an upper-year student who still has to fulfil the Communication Requirement, you may be able to write the English Language Proficiency Exam (ELPE). Please speak to your faculty advisor.

For the most up-to-date information, please see the undergraduate calendar and/or your faculty advisor.
