Fighting hunger in our community on Halloween night

Trick or Eaters

When Waterloo residents heard knocks on their doors this past Halloween, they discovered that one group of trick-or-treaters wasn’t asking for candy. A total of 82 participants from the University of Waterloo joined the Trick-or-Eat initiative organized by the Federation of Students.

Trick or Eat

On the scariest night of the year, 190 people from the University of Waterloo community ventured out into the streets. They needed to find food. No, they weren't secret zombies but participants in Trick or Eat.

Trick or Eat is an annual event held on Halloween by the Feds Student Food Bank, which is a Federation of Students service. It is a part of the national initiative launched by Meal Exchange, a charity that works to help young adults improve their local food systems.
