Accelerating Social Cause Entrepreneurs
Waterloo acts as a partner and advisor to ASCEnt (Accelerating Social Cause Entrepreneurs), an innovative pilot program offering social entrepreneurs and benefit enterprises a comprehensive program to move companies from idea to sustainable success.
Part of a vibrant post-secondary sector in our community, Waterloo collaborates frequently with both Wilfrid Laurier University and Conestoga College. Together, we inform community planning processes related to economic development, such as the City of Waterloo’s Economic Development Committee and Town and Gown Committee.
