The University of Waterloo is proud to participate in Random Act of Kindness Day (RAK Day) to help spread kindness on campus and in our community. Supporting The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation, the RAK Day campaign seeks to create a more empathetic and connected community, inviting everyone to pay it forward.
Throughout the day, students, faculty, and staff dubbed the “Kindness Krew” perform small, yet meaningful deeds on each our campuses and across the region to help brighten people's days.
RAK Day 2016
RAK Day was brought to our campus in 2013 and continues to grow. This year's event on Friday, Novemebr 4, 2016 saw close to 300 University of Waterloo volunteers come together to perform thousands of acts of kindness across each of our campuses and beyond Ring Road.
