 uter Science_\n\nWe give a dissipative quantum search algorithm that is ba
 sed on a\nnovel dissipative query model. If there are $N$ items and $M$ of
  them\nare marked\, this algorithm performs a fixed-point quantum search u
 sing\n$O(\\sqrt{N/M}\\log(1/\\epsilon))$ queries with error bounded by\n$\
 \epsilon$. In addition\, we present a continuous-time version of this\nalg
 orithm in terms of Lindblad evolution.
