 committed\ntransactions from failures. However\, making every transaction 
 durable\nimpacts transaction processing performance. Some ad-hoc durabilit
 y\nmechanisms (e.g.\, delayed durability) improve performance\, but they\n
 risk transactions losing their effects due to failures. The current\none-s
 ize-fits-all transaction durability model does not solve this\nproblem.
