Fourth-year CFM student, Kamaljot Dhaliwal, and a team of four other School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) students continue the success of Waterloo teams at the local (provincial) level CFA Institute Research Challenge competition.
The CFA Institute Research Challenge requires student teams (1 team per university) to evaluate a selected public company, with Canadian Tire being this year’s company. After numerous hours, in-depth research, and masterful preparation, Waterloo’s team has advanced to the Americas Regional CFA Institute Research Challenge competition in Chicago, where they will represent Ontario and compete with 4,000 students world-wide.
