As the deadline for fall 2020 applications approach, you may know exactly what you want to study but you may still be deciding between your options. To help you make an informed decision, we want to help you learn more about our double major program, Computing and Financial Management (CFM).
Certainly, there are many great benefits to studying CFM including a small-knit community of students, dedicated attention from a Program Manager and internationally-recognized professors teaching your courses. But while all of that might sound good, it's important to figure out if studying computer science and finance is right for you.
For many high school students, it's easy to decide if computer science is an interesting subject because it's often offered as course. There are also lots of online modules available to teach programming and coding. The same is not necessarily the case with finance. Some students will be able to study accounting, economcs and business in school but not many will be able to learn the fascinating, and mathematical, subject of finance. To help you decide if finance is a strong fit for you, we've put together some basic topics and problems for you to review.
Take a look and see what's great about finance!
