Phto of John Winslade PhD. John Winslade taught for ten years at the University of Waikato, Hamilton, New Zealand, where he was the director of Counsellor Education. He is currently a professor at California State University San Bernardino. He is co-author of Narrative Mediation: A New Approach to Conflict Resolution (2001) , Practicing Narrative Mediation: Loosening the Grip of Conflict (2008) and When Stories Clash: Addressing Conflict with Narrative Mediation (2013),  and has also co authored additional books on narrative therapy. He is experienced in family court, community and organizational mediation work. He has taught narrative mediation to graduate students in New Zealand, and in workshops and seminars in six different countries.  He has been providing a workshop in Narrative Mediation at Conrad Grebel University College since 2002.
