We acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River.
Conrad is teaming up with the Entrepreneurship Society at UWaterloo to host a Pitch Night! This is a casual event that gives both established startups and budding entrepreneurs the opportunity to practice their pitch in a casual, supportive environment.
Whether you're preparing for the Velocity Fund Finals, the Hult Prize, or simply have a new venture you want to share, come out to the Pitch Night to get pitch practice and feedback from the Conrad Centre's experienced judges.
Feedback and Mentoring from the Conrad Centre
The Pitch Night is a friendly opportunity to get feedback peers and Conrad Centre judges. The judges will select winners, who will receive a prize of a free mentorship lunch with Conrad entrepreneurship professors.
The judges are:
David Rose, Conrad faculty member, associate director of MBET
Karin Schmidlin, UX Design professor at UW Stratford, manager of the Jamii virtual incubation program at the Conrad Centre
Doug Beynon, Conrad Entrepreneur-in-Residence, President of Beynon Enterprises
