We acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River.
The Conrad Centre is proud to take part in StART-Up, an event hosted by the Arts and Business Society. StART-Up aims to introduce Arts students to entrepreneurship and innovation at UWaterloo, and to introduce the entrepreneurship community to the Faculty of Arts!
The event will include:
- A FIRESIDE CHAT with students, alumni and members from the entrepreneurial community on campus, to talk about the connections between Arts and entrepreneurship.
- A NETWORKING SESSION between Arts students and early-stage or budding entrepreneurs!
- PRESENTATION OF ARTS ENTREPRENEURSHIP AWARDS to the winners in Fall 2016!
Arts students will learn about how to get involved with entrepreneurship on-campus, and have the opportunity to network with students and entrepreneurs looking to develop their start-ups and ideas.
