We acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River.
The Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business, in honour of Thrive Week on Waterloo campus, is hosting a half hour discussion on mental health with engineering counsellor Cassie Smith. Join us in the Conrad Hub space for this informal session (open to all) as we talk about mental health as it relates to entrepreneurship, resilience and more.
About Cassie
Since completing graduate school, I have worked in various counselling roles, including addiction counselling, private practice, and counselling troubled youth. I have been working as a counsellor in the Faculty of Engineering since 2011, and continue to thoroughly enjoy my role here. As a former student of the University of Waterloo, I can appreciate the challenges and unique experiences faced by the students here on campus. I have particular experience and interest in addressing issues such as stress, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, anger, poor motivation, life transitions, and relationship concerns.
