We acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River.
Congratulations to Planboard, a University of Waterloo startup, who placed second at the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition! The competition took place at Singapore Management University from August 17 - 29, 2013.
Planboard, a Master of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology external practicum project, is an online platform for teachers to streamline lesson plans, track curriculum standards, and collaborate with other teachers. Planboard was the only Canadian team in the competition.
To learn more about Planboard, watch their video, made by MBET students working on the project.
To find out more about the competition, read William and Suraj’s blog about their week in Singapore.
Since 2001, the goal of the conference has been to encourage youth excellence in enterprise through emphasis on the potential to impact people positively, rather than to simply increase profitability.
Well done, Planboard!
