Bridging Entrepreneurs to Students (BETS)

A specialized co-op program established to support first-year co-op students and early-stage startups to contribute to business objectives.

Richard Yim is a Waterloo Engineering graduate who built his company, Demine Robotics (formerly Landmine Boys), with the help of Conrad School courses and instructors. Demine Robotics has developed a robot that safely diffuses landmines.
