Faculty and staff holding up letters to form "congratz class of 2021" sign

The Faculty of Environment is proud to honour the many accomplishments of our 2021 graduates, who continue to push the boundaries of what is possible. It is these achievements that remind us that the talent and passion found at the University of Waterloo can shape our sustainable future TOGETHER.

The University of Waterloo will marked this milestone and celebrated with a live, online convocation ceremony. Watch a recording of the ceremony, and download the event program, below:

Message from the Dean

"Those of you graduating with an undergraduate degree have the depth and breadth of knowledge to enter and thrive in a wide range of careers in the public, private and non-profit sections; those of you graduating with a Master’s degree have learned what it is to truly master a topic, a method, a theory; and those of you graduating with a PhD have achieved the academy’s highest degree for contributing to our evolving understanding of the natural, built and social environments. Congratulations!"

- Jean Andrey, dean, Faculty of Environment

Congratulations to our special award winners
