Large cluster of COVID cases leads to outbreak

Update for the UWaterloo community

  • We are managing a COVID-19 outbreak of two cases in Claudette Millar Hall.

  • Public health officials have identified that the cases may be linked to a large cluster of COVID cases in the community.

  • If you do not hear from public health officials, you should continue to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 and seek testing if needed. We all need to avoid social gatherings to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Tell us your plans for fall term

Update for international students

The start of the term is fast approaching and the University has created a form to check-in on your plans for fall term. The form is mandatory for all international students and asks about your travel history and plans - including your quarantine plan (if applicable). By filling out the form, we can all comply with the Government of Canada and University of Waterloo health guidelines related to COVID-19 and help keep each other safe.
