The University of Waterloo is pleased to offer a variety of accommodation options, both at the conference location, and in the Town of Huntsville.

CTSNA conference guests will have the opportunity to stay nestled among the trees at the conference venue in the Summit Centre’s student residence. Situated in the vibrant heart of Huntsville Ontario and overlooking Cann Lake, dorm accommodation is located on the second and third floors of the Summit Centre, consisting of double or triple occupancy with availability for 38 conference guests. The student residence at the Waterloo Summit Centre for the Environment includes furnished rooms with shared washrooms, kitchen facilities, and plenty of lounge space. The Summit Centre is within walking distance to downtown amenities and attractions, as well as numerous walking trails, and is conveniently located across the street from the Canada Summit Centre Recreation Complex.

To ensure dorm availability, please request via your conference registration, and indicate one or two potential roommates. First priority will go to current students, post-docs, and recent graduates. Guests choosing this accommodation option will be invoiced by The University of Waterloo a total of $150 for a four night stay (August 1-4 evenings).

CTSNA has arranged a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn Huntsville for conference delegates at a preferred rate of $134.99 per room per night, based on single or double occupancy, plus applicable provincial taxes (13%) for August 1-4 evenings. The Comfort Inn is located in Huntsville Ontario, close to amenities and attractions, and within a 10-15-minute walk from the Waterloo Summit Centre. Guestrooms include high-speed Internet access, parking, and a daily complimentary continental breakfast. Delegates interested in this accommodation option are encouraged to book rooms shortly after conference registration in order to guarantee availability. Being a popular tourist destination in Muskoka’s Cottage Country, there are a number of other accommodation options within the Huntsville area.

Campground accommodation options include Arrowhead Provincial Park or Algonquin Provincial Park, both located just outside of town.

Other budget to mid-range hotel options include the Holiday Inn Express and Suites, Arrowhead Inn, or the Rodeway Inn King William, all located in downtown Huntsville. Resort accommodation options in the area include Deerhurst Resort, Grandview, or Hidden Valley Resort.
