1. Maximum support for each faculty member or doctoral student of $3,500 to present their performance management research at a peer-reviewed academic conference (e.g., CAAA, AAA, EAA mid-year AAA section meetings, etc.). To be eligible for this funding, the paper being presented must relate to a performance management topic such as strategy implementation, performance measurement, management control systems, compensation and incentives, business analytics, management ethics, etc. Attendance at a practitioner-oriented conference by faculty members or doctoral students to present performance management research or otherwise participate (e.g.,panel member, invited speaker, etc.) also qualifies for funding in this category. Note if one of your co-authors is presenting the paper, you are eligible for a maximum of $2,500 in funding under the second category below.

2. Maximum support for a faculty member or doctoral student of $2,500 to attend an academic conference (e.g., CAAA, AAA, EAA, mid-year AAA section meetings, etc.) or a practitioner-oriented conference. To be eligible for this funding, the primary purpose of attending the conference would be to: (a) learn about current performance management research or issues of importance to practice or (b) enhance the teaching of performance management topics. You need not be on the program as a presenter, discussant or moderator to quality for funding under this category.
