Selection is based on academic excellence (minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent) and a demonstrated interest in gender studies from a historical perspective, which includes (but is not limited to) such related topics as women’s history, history of masculinity, gender and society, gender and the state, and/or scholarly engagement in gender theory or concepts of gender as a social construct.
