Systematic and scoping reviews require a rigorous and reproducible search methodology. This workshop, a combination of presentation and interactive activities, outlines the expectations of a systematic search and provides practical experience in developing a search methodology that meets systematic standards.
By the end of this workshop, you will:
- Understand the characteristics of a “systematic” search
- Learn strategies to build, organize and construct a comprehensive search strategy in academic databases
- Learn a systematic approach to identify grey literature
- Understand the search documentation process and reporting standards
